| Is this the spot where we’re supposed to write some long soliloquy on our humble beginnings as worn-knee sharecroppers or perhaps a couple of city kids with a bottle of Jägermeister and dream? Yeah, no chance of that. We’ve lived all over, seen all the places and decided to build the one in the city where people could drink, dance, shoot pool, hook up, act a fool, have fun, be themselves or—better yet—someone else.
The Shelter is dark and loud and full of people who aren’t supposed to hang out together – quite simply there is no place like it in Atlanta. Don’t believe us?
